Refining margins tighten in NWE but gain some ground in the Mediterranean

Renters data indicated margins at Rotterdam in the Netherlands for cracking Brent declined by 45￠/bbl over the week ending Feb. 14 to an average of $5.88/bbl. Weekly average hydroskimming margins on Brent at Rotterdam slipped by 660/bbl from the previous week to $ 5.95/bbl. The declines came about despite support from falling freight rates.
