ERCOT North Hub day-ahead on-peak fell about $24 on the Intercontinental Exchange in July 5 trading to price at nearly $32/ MWh, and its real-time peak contract dropped about $23.25 to approximately $31.75/MWh for July 6 delivery. The balance-of-the-week peak July 7 contract fell nearly $9.75 to about $29.50/MWh, while the next-week peak July 10-14 strip fell roughly $53 to $62.50/MWh. In the futures market, the ERCOT real-time peak August contract fell $11 to price $119/MWh, with the September contract also falling nearly $3.50 to about $62/MWh.
