2013 NISSAN SENTRA: LONG TIME COMING - Nissan rolls out a new Sentra

THE NISSAN SENTRA LAGS almost every other competitor in its segment, trailing even the Volkswagen Jetta for sales in 2011-by more than 62,000 units. Perhaps it's no surprise given the six years since the last all-new Sentra bowed. That should change soon as the 2013 Sentras have begun rolling into dealerships. It's a quiet design, using little of the surface drama employed by cars such as the Ford Focus or Hyundai Elantra. Instead, the Sentra relies on clean lines, side-swept head-and taillight shapes, and a strong reliance on big-sibling Altima's fresh new styling, of which it copies almost wholesale.
