Pharmacists in developing countries to be offered training as part of UKgovernment package to tackle AMR

Announcing the investment on 16 August 2023, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said it would be working with countriesacross Asia and Africa over the next three years to bolster the AMR surveillance capacity in up to 25 countries where the threat and burdenof AMR is highest, including Indonesia, Ghana, Kenya and Papua New Guinea.
