JUST THREE WEEKS AFTER 33 Indy cars scorched the track at the 500, Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosted more than 500 entries for the Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational. The road course was almost constantly hot. Saturday featured a pro-am pairing 33 former Indy 500 drivers with highly motivated amateurs in '63-'72 Corvettes, Mustangs and Camaros. About the amateurs, podium-finisher/former IRL champ Mark Dismore said, "They're fast! We drive our butts off so we don't let them down."
