Imagine our surprise when the North African skies opened up for two straight days during our first drive of the 2013 Range Rover. We suspected the Land Rover guys planned it that way: Would make for better Ranger Rovering, test the vehicle's mettle and all that. Turned out to be a great opportunity to put the Range Rover through its paces. Land Rover first showed its redesigned flagship at the Paris show. It's an inch and change longer overall, but the truck's designers didn't mess with the exterior shape too much (don't panic - the clamshell hood is still there).
