BALLS-OUT BRONCO: The '60s and '70s icon returns for a Vegas encore

THE BRONCO IS BACK, blending an authentic look from the past with raw V8 power and some of the best of the tuner world's off-roading tricks. The iconic SUV from 1966-77 is being resurrected by a California company fittingly called Icon, and it will bow in November at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas. Icon makes a line of retro-styled off-roaders that summon the heritage of the FJ and CJ utes and are fortified with modern drivelines and suspensions. Now comes the Bronco, which uses sheetmetal from original body shells spruced up by Icon founder and lead designer Jonathan Ward for a retro appearance with contemporary attitude.
