Bodywork, dimensions and revamped interior highlight changes on the 2012 Yaris. FPR WHAT IS touted by Toyota as "all new," there really is very little on the 2012 Yaris that wasn't on the 2011 Yaris. The engine and the transmission are essentially the same, the chassis is essentially the same, and the suspension is pretty much still the same. There is all-new body- work, an extra two inches of wheelbase and a nicely finished interior, but you'd be stretching to call it all new.
