Oil-field contractors say they are struggling to meet the needs of their customers due to limited resources and converging demands, threatening the industry’s ability to secure the energy supplies needed now and in the future. The heads of three top energy contractors told the Energy Intelligence Forum in London on Tuesday that the thirst for fresh oil and natural gas supplies coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic and in light of increasing conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East has put a strain on oil-field services supply chains.
