摘要

Nearly eight years after it arrived at the workshops of the Bomber Command Museum of Canada at Nanton, 63 miles south of Calgary, restoration of de Havilland Mosquito B35 RS700/CF-HMS is forging ahead with the Calgary Mosquito Society (CMS). Owned by the city of Calgary and ultimately destined for display in the Hangar Flight Museum at Calgary Airport, the Christchurch-built machine is being restored back into the silver and red markings it wore while being operated by Ottawa-based aerial survey company Spartan Air Services during the late 1950s.
