Shanxi Shangtai to build new anode capacity

Chinese lithium-ion battery anode material producer Shanxi Shangtai will build the fourth phase of its Jinzhong-based plant in Shanxi province. The firm is on tack to start site construction of the fourth phase, with a 300,000 t/yr designed capacity, at the end of June 2023 and will launch the phase in the second quarter of 2024.
