Avanti Linens is sleeping in. Encouraged by the reception to its entry into the bedding category last fall, the company is building on its 54-year legacy in home textiles with a second season of its top-of-bed fashions. New styles reflect emerging trends, noted company president and chief operating officer Jeff Kaufman. And that includes the addition of throws to the mix. New styles include: 1. Jacquard woven gauze comforter sets 2. Jacquard woven patchwork quilts 3. Surface texture and details, such as clips, chain stitch, pick-stitching and self-fringe 4. Waffle weaves across comforters, quilts and throws 5. Printed gauze throws 6. Quilts with pompom lace combined with lots of stitching in an over-scaled floral 7. Christmas novelty printed quilt sets "We are off to a great start in bedding, and we lookforward to growing the business," he said.
