Soar like an eagle:Aussie wingsuit fliers will self-propel across the Grand Canyon

Australian wingsuiting, couple Glenn Singleman and Heather Swan have been sponsored by the AG Society again, this time on an ambitious adventure to launch themselves out of an aeroplane over the Grand Canyon.Starting at more than 9000m -higher than the peak of Mt Everest - the pair will use state-of-the-art equipment to make a wingsuit pass over the US icon in early October. They have already flown over central Australia's Mt Conner, launching from a hot-air balloon (AG 93), and from Rose Bay over the Sydney Opera House to the Harbour Bridge. They hope their Flying Icons project will also include passes over St Petersburg in Russia and the North Pole.
