Introduction: Peripheral nerve regeneration over longer distances through conduits is limited. In the presented study, critical size nerve gap bridging with a poly-DL-lactide-epsilon-caprolactone (PLC) conduit was combined with application of C3 toxin to facilitate axonal sprouting.
