Additional monetary gain with increase in mixed juice cane by sustaining the steam consumption

摘要

Indian sugar industry has adopted the latest technological developments from time to time to improve the performance of the sugar mills Viz. Sugar quality, Recovery, Steam consumption Automation. Plantation white sugar colour is improved up to 80 IU and steam cane is established to 32 to 34 on cane with gradual modernization of sugar mills by introducing innovative technologies and new equipment. In this paper the author discussed about the way to increase the productivity of sugar by increasing the Mixed juice Cane with augmented imbibition water cane and sustaining the same steam consumption with modifications in the evaporator configuration.
