While some products saw a bit of a recovery in other energy markets around the world, all spot product prices continued to fall in the Singapore spot market during the week ending Feb. 7. Asia will likely remain the hardest-hit region in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak that began in China's province of Hubei. News of planned run cuts by Chinese refiners may have bolstered sentiment in other regional markets, but it did little to support Asian prices. Gasoil and gasoline posted smaller week-on-week price declines than other spot products at Singapore while bunkers and naphtha posted steeper drops.
