Dennis had always admired the Studley tool chest, but didn't want to replicate it exactly. Instead he chose to build an original interpretation, a furniture-level, artistic tool chest with architectural details incorporating form and function. With only a couple of projects under his belt, Nils wanted to build a new piece that would give him a solid foundation in design, techniques, and joinery. So he watched "The North Bennet Street School Toolbox with Matt Wajda" Video Workshop multiple times before starting this box. He referred to the video a couple more times while building. He says the video taught him a great deal, and it quickly took him to the next woodworking skill level.
