EFSA finds no critical areas of concern in glyphosate reassessment

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has not identified any critical areas of concern in its reassessment of the herbicide, glyphosate. The review covered the impact of glyphosate on the health of humans, animals and the environment. The Authority has submitted its findings including some data gaps in its conclusions to the European Commission and EU member states to consider in the next stage of the herbicide’s renewal of approval process.
