September 2021 imports were 12,068 tons which was right on the license number from last month. October licenses are up 17 at 14,055 tons. The November forecast, with 11 of 21 days counted, suggests higher import levels again with 15,166 tons. With higher prices in the market and growing demand, the trend in stainless remains up. This level of imports could be right in range given the improved outlook for this product.
