Angus research shows potential for efficiency gains

ANGUS cattle have been at the centre of two major research projects in Australia focused on defining the consequences of selection for improved growth rate and feed conversion efficiency. These studies have demonstrated that good opportunities exist for beef producers to achieve gains in productivity through well-designed breeding programs targeting improved growth performance and feed-conversion efficiency.
