Performance of insecticides and mixtures in managinginsect pests of Brinjal

摘要

The results revealed that all the insecticide mixtures were effective in reducing leafhopper population at one day to spray and order of effectivity was triazophos + deltamethrin @ 360 g.a.i./ ha >profenophos + cypermethrin @ 440g a.i./ha > chlorpyriphos + cypermethrin @ 550g a.i./ha. However, mixture of profenophos + cypermethrin exhibited low effectiveness against whitefly. Per cent infestation due to shoot and fruit borer on weight basis in various treatments ranged from 18.0-28.1% as compared to38.2% in untreated check. Increase in yield was highest (160.4%) in treatment schedule having spray of profenophos+cypermethrin followed by one spray each of frpronil and carbosulfan.
