摘要

The voltage-controlled magnetic anisotropy effect is drawing much attention as a promising approach for realizing ultra-low-power spintronic devices, such as voltage-torque MRAM. This topical review paper introduces recent progress on materials research and demonstrations of voltage-induced dynamic switching with discussions on future prospects and the technical challenges of voltage-torque MRAM.
