Detection of citrus ring spot virus and citrus yellow vein clearing virus in sweet orange by DAC-ELISA.

DAC-ELISA test was used to detect Citrus ring spot virus (CRSV) on Sathgudi sweet orange and Citrus yellow vein clearing virus (CYVCV) in citrus plants in Andhra Pradesh, India. Samples suspected to contain CRSV reacted well to polyclonal antibodies of ICRSV at (1:500), while samples thought to have CYVCV were positive for CYVV antibodies. Tissue dilution of 1:10 was more suitable than a tissue dilution of 1:100.
