1.The IFC is proposing to lend $150 million to Brazilian utility Sabesp for ten years to finance water and sanitation investments in the state of Sao Paulo. The proposal comes almost exactly 20 years after Sabesp was first listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and just days after the company announced Q1 adjusted EBITDA of BRL1.72 billion (up 5.2%) on net revenues of BRL4.87 billion (up 4.1%). 2.Nasdaq-listed CECO Environmental has acquired membrane systems supplier Compass Water Solutions for $12.5 million. 3.American Water has been busy on the rate case front this month, most notably filing for an additional $173.2 million in annual revenues in Pennsylvania (with a requested ROE of 10.8%). The company also applied to raise revenues by approximately $95 million over three years in California, and secured a $1.7 million annual revenue hike in Hawaii.
