On a beautiful Fall day in October, Single Source Technologies held an all-day EDM educational event at their New Britain, Connecticut consumables headquarters. This major regional event provided members of the Northeast EDM community with the opportunity to attend technical EDM presentations by industry experts, visit with key industry suppliers and witness demonstrations of state-of-the-art EDM machine tools. Conference technical presentations were conducted in both conference room and classroom settings on the following subjects: 1. Wire EDM Machine Maintenance 2. EDM Wire Selection 3. DI Resin and Water Treatment Fundamentals 4. EDM Graphite Selection 5. EDM Hole Drilling Fundamentals Since more than one hundred fifty EDM'ers registered to attend the conference, all presentations were conducted in both morning and afternoon sessions to afford attendees the opportunity to attend all the presentations.
