The Final year B.Sc. (Ag.) student of Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU have completed their Experiential Learning (EL) module namely Milk Processing and Milk Products Manufacture in the Department of Dairy Science and Food Technology, BHU. A total of 35 students had enrolled in this module, and actively involved and worked around 3 months (3 working days per week) in EL unit of the department. In this module, students were involved in hand on experience and skills in area related dairy foods. Students were involved in production of various dairy products namely Peda (Marketed as Mahamana Prasadam), Icecream, Shrikhand, Rasogulla, Gulab Jamun, Kalakand, Gujiya, etc. Students manage all the activities right from raw material procurement, processing, production till marketing of prepared product. Students grouped themself in three major divisions namely Procurement and Production, Packaging, and Marketing.
