Ethtec has a wdrldwide exclusive licence from Apace Research to develop its technology for producing ethanol from lignocellulosic material such as wood, municipal green waste and bagasse (waste from sugar production), Willmott Forests plans to actively assist Ethtec in raising funds for building a pilot plant, designed by Apace Research, which will over a three year period aim to demonstrate the commercial potential of cellulosic ethanol technology. Willmott Forests will have representation on the boards of both Ethtec and Apace Research.
