In this paper, we solve the problem of synthesis of small-order weighting functions also called windows with an arbitrarily specified falloff rate of the spectrum lobes that are optimal by the criterion of minimizing the highest sidelobe level on a specified segment of the frequency axis and are intended for embedded real-time systems. It is shown that a decrease in the minimization segment length results in a significant gain in the main parameters of the windows. Windows of orders 1–6 with various sidelobe falloff rates are synthesized, and their characteristics are analyzed. Tables of parameters of the synthesized functions are provided, the data being ample enough to present a practical interest and understanding of potentialities of this class of windows.
