摘要

In July 2017 a one-day meeting was held in honour of the late Professor John Blake. Those fortunate enough to know John regard him as one of the first champions of discipline-based teaching and learning. The meeting sought to identify how the mathematical sciences community could continue to work together in an evolving higher education landscape [1].
