Although presale testing has been part of the Australian wool-selling system since. 1972, some of the terms reported in the Australian Wool Testing Authority Ltd (AWTA) test results are not always well understood. PETER MORGAN explains the various results reported by AWTA and provides formulae for those interested in the construction of the yields used in wool trading.
