摘要

WALLY Shaw sees himself as a super optimist, But he does not let this cloud his judgement as president of one of the biggest farmer representative groups in Australia - the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF). A key negotiator for the Victorian chicken-meat industry for almost 30 years, Shaw knows the value of carefully planned lobbying to achieve results for all parties concerned. And he will be calling on this skill if his first 12 months as VFF president have been any indication of things to come.A change of government, record low prices for wool and beef and more recently, gun control issues have been just a few of the challenges Shaw has had to deal with.
