DR BETH Woods, 41, is one of those rare people who can explain a complex subject in the practical terms of a field extension worker. That's not surprising, considering years of outstanding field work with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries (QDPI) early in her career. Woods was appointed as Queensland Industry Development Corporation (QIDC) professor of agribusiness at the University of Queensland Gatton College in late July.
