West Coast Pump & Well Works welds casing on a 482-foot domestic well that is producing 35 gallons per minute in late April in Palomino Valley, Nevada. The gorgeous sunset view came as the company battled through about two months on the jobsite dealing with rig failures at about 200 feet. It was difficult and slow drilling through solid granite that was fractured, but once the company drilled out to 520 feet, it cased it in that same night so the next morning it could gravel pack it and move on to the next job. The company serves northern Nevada and California. Photo courtesy Beau Coursey, owner-operator, West Coast Pump & Well Works in Sparks, Nevada.
