Devon Park: a rich history

IN 1984, Jim and Suzie Clarke decided to restore their Devon Park homestead to its 1882 form. Off came 13 rooms clad in fibro cement and weatherboard; on went two bluestone additions to the upper two-storey front. The result is a stunning bluestone home set in beautiful gardens near Dunkeld in Victoria. Devon Park homestead has simple, elegant lines. The stonework is clean and quite magnificent; the large windows give it a bright, open feel.
