AN INTEGRATED DATA BANK OF AN OCEANOGRAPHIC CRUISE

The general concept and the design principles of an integrated data bank for an oceanographic cruise (experiment), to be kept on a personal computer, are discussed. A control system has b"en developed which can accommodate the input of any data types obtained during research vessel cruises (hydrologic, biological, optical and other studies). A trial use or this data bank during research vessel cruises has demonstrated its efficiency and convenience.
