AN INVERSE SERVICE DISCIPLINE IN A QUEUING SYSTEM WITH BATCH INPUT

摘要

A single-channel queuing system with an non-ordinary Poissonian request stream is considered. Request batches are serviced in the inverse sequence with interruption. Priority is assigned to a request whose processing requires the least amount of time. We find the stationary distribution of the somber of requests in the queue.
