Crown Estate Scotland has revealed the 17 projects chosen as part of its ScotWind leasing round, the first Scottish offshore wind round in over a decade. A total of 74 applications were submitted with 17 offered option agreements that reserve the rights to specific areas of seabed. A total of just under ￡700m will be paid by the successful applicants in option fees and passed to the Scottish government for public spending.
