It is just over 12 months since I took on the role as CEO of the SRS~R Group and can honestly say that I am more excited than ever at the opportunities before us as the largest coordinated group of commercial woolgrowers in Australia. Having grown upon a Merino stud near Wellington, I have always had a real passion for the industry and building sustainable rural and regional communities across Australia. During my time as Australian Trade Commissioner in the United States, I retained my ties to thebush establishing an agribusiness team and also working to get regional food and wine businesses into the massive US market. We can be proud of our achievements in the past 12 months. Members of the SRS~R Group have continued toestablish themselves as industry leaders across a broad range of fronts. We are the largest producers of non-mulesed wool in Australia with 100% of registered SRS studs and an increasing number of commercial clients ceasing the practice.
