The embodiment of color elements in product packaging design

For a product, in addition to its quality, the packaging design is equally important. This paper briefly introduces color elements and packaging design and proposes to intelligently evaluate the color design of the packaging with the convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithm. Then, an example analysis was carried out on four packaging schemes of Hongshan flowering Chinese cabbage from Wuhan Chutian Hongshan Flowering Chinese Cabbage Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. The results showed that evaluating the color design of the packaging with the CNN algorithm had high precision and recall rate, and a high F-measure score also indicated the stable comprehensive performance of the algorithm. The analysis of the four schemes demonstrated that the evaluation results of the CNN algorithm on the color design were almost consistent with the manual evaluation results and the color design of all the schemes could reflect the brand of Hongshan flowering Chinese cabbage.
