HE HAS an impressive history of community service and has been honoured in return with an Order of Australia, but one senses Donald McEae would rather be remembered simply as a good dairy-farmer and family man. Born at Barrington, north of the small town of Gloucester on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Donald has devoted his whole life to the family dairy farm and his community.
