August production fell

Russian refneries produced 326,200t of coke in August, down by 14pc from July, according to market participants. The de-cline was mostly because Rosneft’s 190,000 b/d Ufaneftekhim cut coke production to 2,000t in August from 40,500t in July as it shut down two delayed coking units in late July for preven-tive maintenance. But this refnery supplies coke only to the domestic market.
