The wool market has returned to prices briefly seen about 10 years ago. Some see this as a market improvement but in reality it is an overdue price increase which needs to continue if there is a long-term future for wool businesses. Charting and percentile analysis (Table 1) confirm that the wool market is now at historically strong levels, however the same charts point out the volatility seen in the past, and which can reasonably be expected to continue in the future.
