Station tourism takes pressure off as Wooleen destocks to restore rangeland

Providing an experience of life in the vast range-lands of Western Australia has become a successful means of generating income at Wooleen Station. Importantly, it has enabled the owners to take the unprecedented step of destocking the station for atleast three years as a strategy to restore the health of their range-lands (Australian Farm Journal September 2010).
