Experimental Analysis on the Performance of Triangular Perforated Wavy Tape Solar Water Heater

摘要

This study's objective was to design and develop triangular perforated wavy tapped inserts in the galvanized iron tube of a solar water heater. Further, we investigated the thermal efficiency of this water heater. This analysis is based on the 60° angle of perforated triangular wavy tape. The experimental observational is performed on monthly basis of four months (March, April, May and June) in the year of 2022. The maximum efficiency was gained on 15th March 2022 at 40%. During these months, the minimum efficiency is observed on 15th June 2022 at 36%.
