Deere's 8000 Ten series sets new benchmark

The new John Deere 8000 Ten series tractors are more than just an upgrade of the company's popular and best-selling 8000 range - they are a new line-up of power boosted units. Claimed to have been designed from the "voice of the customer" to provide"on-the-farm solutions" for increased productivity, the new tractors come in four different model designations with four different power ratings: from 123 power take-off kilowatts (PTO kW) to 175 PTO kW (143kW to 198kW rated engine power) and are also available as rubber track models. They come with powerboosted engines (and increased power bulge), new implement management systems, new automatic powershift transmissions, new hitch-slip command, new automatic tractor shutdown feature, a new command control system and improved hydraulic performance.
