NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF NONLINEAR EQUATIONS USING A NEW THIRD ORDER ITERATIVE METHOD

In this article, we propose a new iterative method for solving nonlinear equation f(x)=0. We use Taylor series and Newton-Cotes six point rule to generate new version of iterative method of third order. Some test equations are performed to check its efficiency. This can be assumed to be the upgraded version of Newton-Raphson method.
