AFTER nearly eight years of effort, 500,000 dollar of corporate support and the backing of the Western Australia Department of Agriculture, the Morbinning Catchment Group 150km east of Perth has turned a waterlogged, saline area into a healthy environment. But the group says the exercise has also shown just how little is known. "What is really needed is an expert who knows all the answers," says one of the founders of the group, Ron McLean, expressing his concern at the diversity of opinions that still come from Landcare's technical supporters.
