TWO RECENTLY published books, one dealing with native pastures and the other with introduced grasses, are an ideal source of up-to-date practical information about pasture sowing, management and use. Managing High Rainfall Native Pastures on a Whole Farm Basis was written by Peter Simpson and Col Langford and published by the NSW Department of Agriculture. Greener Pastures for South West Victoria was written by staff from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and published by the same organisation.
