SOUTH-EAST Queensland carrot producers John and Peter Brent have moved into the wprld of value-adding and vertical integration by securing a contract to supply and process fresh produce for a specialist vegetable-marketing firm. The Brents run one ofQueensland's largest horticultural enterprises, Bunny Bite Farms, on the rich alluvial creek flats near Boonah in the Fassifern Valley. They have been growing vegetables for the fresh, juice, frozen and canned markets for years.
