Mellor to open new facility in Scarborough

Mellor has revealed plans for a new Scarborough-based production division. Mellor (Scarborough) will support the company's existing manufacturing base in Rochdale while 'boosting capacity and adding significant technological capability.' Mellor (Scarborough) is part of a wider relocation of Promech Technologies, another company under the parent Woodall Nicholson group. Completion of the new 54,000sq.ft. purpose-built facility in Scarborough is expected in Q3 of 2022. Fifty employees will relocate from Promech's existing location nearby, and the company expects to hire a further 30-50.
